If you are using a cryptocurrency wallet that isn't open source, you're doing it wrong - unless you trust random developers on the internet as much as you'd trust your bank.

Popular wallets like Exodus, Jaxx, Coinomi are not fully open source, and no security researcher properly can audit whether funds are endangered using them. I strongly advise against storing any amount of money you care about in a wallet that is not 100% open source.

A new wallet doing atomic swaps called "Atomic Wallet" appeared in my mentions... surprise, surprise - *not* fully open-source. Which is kind of baffling given atomic swaps are supposed to be a way of further decentralizing and reducing trust.

This should actually read: "If *security* is a priority for you, then Exodus is not the right wallet for your needs."

To be clear: I'm not trying to single out or pick on Exodus Wallet here, they just happened to respond to me. This goes for any cryptocurrency wallet that is not 100% open source.
