Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares are set for their biggest gain of 2019, up 7.6% premarket, after the company shattered its previous production and delivery records during the second quarter. It produced 87,048 vehicles and delivered 95,200 (including 17,650 Model S/Xs and 77,550 Model 3s), soundly beating analysts' estimates. Tesla also hinted at a strong third quarter, saying it's entering the period with a backlog of orders.
