Rob Viglione is the Co-founder of ZenCash, a privacy-oriented and zero-knowledge based cryptocurrency based on usability. He is also president of Zen Blockchain Foundation, which aims to bring fintech to the disenfranchised.
He has a bachelors in physics and actuarial mathematics from Binghamton University, along with an MBA from Loyola Marymount in finance and marketing. He has been involved in the fintech industry as an Operations Analyst for Lanmark Technology deployed to Afghanistan. He also served as a Project Manager for the US Air Forces. He is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of South Carolina where his research includes crypto-finance, venture capital, capital and asset pricing. He also teaches “Bitcoin and Blockchain Applications In Finance” at the university.
