Robinhood Smartphone Trading App Adding Bitcoin and Ether

Popular smartphone app Robinhood announced it will begin to allow users to trade bitcoin next month, and without transaction fees. Cofounder Vlad Tenev of the Robinhood trading app urged: "Cryptocurrencies have become the first foray into investing and financial services to a large number of people," he told Evelyn Cheng. The service will focus on two coins at first, bitcoin and ether, and limit trading to fives states: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Montana, Missouri, and California. Robinhood has been known for allowing its three million smartphone users to trade stocks for free, but includes a premium service with recourse to Options.
